The hotel is very well connected to both of the main Paris airports. From Orly, a single Métro line is all you need, with no change. From Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle, you need to change at Châtelet, or take a taxi at a flat fare. This guide compares all the options with their estimated door-to-door time, from the terminal to the hotel reception.
The times given are estimates. They include walking through the airport, waiting and the walk to the hotel, but not delays or queues at passport and security checks.
The options at a glance
| Route | Door to door | Fare | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orly, line 14 direct | About 40 min | Airport ticket | Almost everyone |
| Orly, taxi | 35 min to 1 hr | Flat fare | Families, luggage, arrival after 1am |
| Roissy, RER B then line 14 | About 1 hr | Airport ticket | Travelling light, during the day |

| Ride-hailing car (VTC), from both airports | Same as taxi | Variable | Regular app users |
| Roissybus | - | - | Withdrawn on 1 March 2026 |
By Métro and RER, one Paris Région - Aéroports ticket per person is all you need. Taxi flat fares are set by the authorities and apply per vehicle: the amounts are published on the service-public.gouv.fr website.
From Orly: line 14
Since 2024, Métro line 14 has linked Orly airport directly to central Paris. Follow the signs to Aéroport d'Orly station, board the train and get off at Pyramides, with no change. The Métro journey takes just under half an hour: about 25 minutes to Châtelet, then Pyramides is the next station.
From Pyramides, the hotel is a four-minute walk. In total, allow about 40 minutes from the terminal to reception. The line is driverless, frequent and fully equipped with lifts, which makes everything easier with suitcases or a pushchair.
The Orlybus, which linked Orly to Denfert-Rochereau, was withdrawn in March 2025 and replaced by line 14. The Orlyval still runs, but it means changing to the RER B at Antony and then again in Paris: line 14 is much simpler.
From Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle: RER B then line 14
Take the RER B from your terminal's station to Châtelet - Les Halles, about 35 minutes. At Châtelet, follow the signs for line 14 and board towards Saint-Denis Pleyel: Pyramides is the next station, two minutes away. The change at Châtelet involves a few minutes' walk through the corridors.
In total, allow about an hour from the terminal to the hotel. The Paris Région - Aéroports ticket covers the whole journey, including the change.
Take care in the evening: until 11 December 2026 inclusive, because of engineering works, the RER B is closed between Châtelet - Les Halles and the airport from 10.45pm, Monday to Friday and on some weekends. Replacement buses take over, but the journey becomes long: if you land in the evening, a taxi is the better choice. Other occasional closures are announced on the official RER B website: check it before you travel.
What about the Roissybus?
For years, the Roissybus linked Charles-de-Gaulle airport to the Opéra, a few minutes from the hotel. It ran for the last time on 28 February 2026 and no longer exists. If you still come across this option on a website or in a guidebook, it is out of date: the RER B or a taxi replaces it.
By taxi or ride-hailing car (VTC)
Between the airports and Paris, taxis charge a flat fare, whatever the meter says. The hotel is on the Right Bank, so the "Right Bank" flat fare applies, from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and from Orly alike. The amount is displayed in the taxi. The flat fare is per vehicle, luggage included. Always take your taxi from the official rank outside the terminals, and turn down offers from drivers who approach you in the arrivals hall. The journey takes from 35 minutes to over an hour depending on traffic, especially at rush hour.
Ride-hailing cars are booked through an app, at a price that varies with the time and demand. For your return journey, reception can help you find a taxi.
Tickets: what you need to know
The Paris Région - Aéroports ticket, with a reduced fare for children aged 4 to 9, is valid for two hours from first validation, including changes, on the Métro, the RER and the Orlyval.
Paper tickets are no longer sold. The airport ticket is loaded onto a Navigo Easy card, sold at ticket offices and machines, or directly onto your smartphone with the Île-de-France Mobilités app. Please note: an airport ticket cannot be loaded onto the same card as standard Métro tickets. If you also plan to travel around Paris, you will need to keep the two on separate passes, for example the card for one and your phone for the other.
Arriving late at the hotel
Reception is open 24 hours a day: whatever time you land, someone will be waiting for you.
- From Orly, line 14 runs until about 1.15am, and 2.15am on Fridays, Saturdays and the night before public holidays.
- From Roissy, after 10.45pm, a taxi remains the simplest option, especially during the RER B engineering works.
On the day you leave
To head back, make the journey in reverse, allowing plenty of time. For a long-haul flight from Roissy, leave the hotel about three and a half hours before take-off; for a European flight from Orly, two and a half hours is usually enough. Check the RER B traffic status the day before, and choose a taxi for a very early flight, before the first trains.
If your flight leaves late in the day, check out of your room in the morning, leave your suitcases in the luggage storage and enjoy Paris to the very end: you can come back for them before you go.
From the station to the hotel
Coming out of Pyramides, walk down avenue de l'Opéra to place André-Malraux, then take rue de Richelieu: the hotel is at number 12, four minutes away, along wide, flat pavements. From Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station, lines 1 and 7, allow two minutes. All the options are summed up on our Location & access page.
